Stoop Style Stories
Everyone has a story. I help them tell it.
Stoopstyle Stories is a narrative platform rooted in radical listening and human connection. It began on stoops, in unplanned conversations with neighbors, friends, and strangers, where stories emerged naturally in the rhythm of everyday life. What started as spontaneous storytelling moments has grown into an intentional archive of memory, voice, and lived experience.
As a professional storyteller, educator, and narrative strategist, I have spent more than a decade working across stages, classrooms, media, and communities. My work has been featured on national platforms, celebrated for its ability to transform personal truth into shared resonance. I’ve guided others through the process of telling their own stories, and I’ve stood in front of rooms to tell mine.
This space holds both. It holds my own unfolding journey, including the realities of homelessness, living in a van, navigating relationships, and finding softness inside survival. It also holds the voices of those who have trusted me to listen deeply, ask the right questions, and write their stories with care.
The work you find here is not content. These are not quick takes. This is not performance for clicks. These are crafted moments of reflection, intimacy, clarity, and truth. Some are quiet. Some are heavy. Some are beautifully ordinary. Each one is an offering.
If you’d like to support this work, I invite you to visit my Patreon.
There I share the behind-the-scenes of this process. What it means to do this kind of storytelling while living without housing. What it means to be vulnerable with strangers. What it means to keep choosing softness in a world that rewards distance.
Your support allows me to keep going. It keeps this space alive. It helps me continue telling stories that might otherwise go unheard.
And if all you do is read, I thank you. I hope something here finds you where you are.
