Chicago born accidental artist Lily Be has been able to learn everything she knows by relying heavily on her faith, community, experiences, and wisdom. Having never aspired to be an artist, she is grateful for every opportunity she gets. She is grateful that the work she gets to do inspires other everyday people to tap into their creative spirits. Lily Be works everyday to connect, collaborate, and create with anyone open to using storytelling to make a difference in their lives or the lives of others.

Our Mission
To open up the world of possibilities of mind, body, and spirit by unlocking, reflecting, and re-imagining narratives. Every show, performance, and workshop is aimed to be able come to a better place of understanding about ourselves and the world around us.
The Work
Performance after performance is what has allowed me to grow as an artist and connected me with to many incredible human beings. I perform to share this gift with the world in hopes of inspiring people to do the same.

Seven years of producing a show has shaped and molded my life in so many ways. Building community and connection at The Stoop has been a dream. I am happy to provide a brave space for people to be.

From performing to producing to teaching. I have been very fortunate to be able to grow as an artist and become a mentor to those looking to discover their voices. I am grateful for all the opportunity and growth.
