Stoop Style Stories was born from a passion for storytelling that reaches beyond mere entertainment. It is a space where narratives of the marginalized, forgotten, and overlooked are brought to the forefront. Founded by Lily Be, a pioneer in the storytelling world, this platform embodies the transformative power of stories to heal, connect, and inspire. With years of experience teaching storytelling globally and as the first Latina to win a Moth GrandSLAM, Lily brings a unique voice and perspective to this initiative.

Lily Be is not just a storyteller—she’s a connector, a producer, and an advocate for the power of narrative. Her journey began as one of the first storytelling teachers, crafting her pedagogy to ensure that anyone, regardless of background, could find their voice. Her work focuses on amplifying the stories of those who are often silenced or overlooked, breaking down barriers and encouraging compassion through shared experiences.
Having taught storytelling for organizations like the World Health Organization and as the creator of narrative mapping, Lily has turned her love for storytelling into a powerful tool for change. Her belief in the power of stories to create understanding and foster connections has shaped her mission and this platform.
